Please give us plenty of the nitty gritty details such as friendliness, near-by attractions, and of course lots of reasons why you think it's the best caravan site in the UK.
Pictures are rewarded with a star on the imaginary fridge.
the best one I have come across is in lynton, down in the west country. It's perched half way down the cliff side, obviously you get to it by road. nothing to much trouble, let us in half way through the night. Lovely pub bit further down, great own beer. and right at the bottom, the village and shore.
It's the place where they have the water powered cliff cars

Reason: few words mist out
There's one I always love visiting and it's just off honeybridge lane in ashurst, west sussex. I guess it's partly the surrounding countryside, but also the friendly staff that make it my top destination.
We've ahd some lovely times here and I'm now friends with the owners, it could do with modernising with some of the facilities but overall it's in such a great location for the River Wye and Forest of Dean.
So many lovely walks nearby and there are camping and caravanning facilities as well as static caravans to hire and a holiday lodge. If you're looking for a campsite in Symonds Yat you should give it a try!
